Hatha Yoga or Hatha Beginners


Hatha Yoga typically includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises). In a Hatha class, postures are normally held for a slightly longer period of time than the more modern styles of yoga like Vinyasa or Hatha Flow. This is a relatively slow and gentle style of yoga that is suitable for beginners or students who prefer a more relaxed class where they hold poses for longer. Each Hatha yoga teacher will have their own particular style with different levels of difficulty, so we recommend that you try a few of our teachers to find out which class/session suits you best.
