Hatha Yoga


Hatha Yoga typically includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises). Postures are normally held for a slightly longer period of time than the more modern styles of yoga like Vinyasa or Hatha Flow. This is a relatively slow and gentle style that is suitable for beginners or students who prefer a more relaxed class where they hold poses longer. Each Hatha yoga teacher will have their own particular style with different levels of difficulty so we recommend that you try a few of our teachers to find out which class that suits you best.
