Yoga is beneficial to kids in many ways. Because children encounter emotional, social, and physical challenges or conflicts, a dedicated and intentional yoga practice that includes breathing techniques, behavioural guidelines, and physical postures can be incredibly valuable for them. Yoga is something children can practice anywhere and the breathing, the concentration, the poses, and the way kids learn to act or react to situations, will lead to constant self-discovery and inquisitiveness.
Kids’ Yoga is designed to help children to develop healthy minds through focus, relaxation and breath work. It also improves balance, flexibility and patience. Games are incorporated to help children to expand their pent-up energy, build strength and encourage imagination and creativity. These activities will cover movement, coordination, focus, relaxation and mindfulness. Each session will be activity/theme based, where the children choose theme i.e. space/ dinosaur/jungle. Group/Partner exercises and sense awareness exercises will also be conducted through games and play. Kids will also be taught various relaxation techniques to help them cope with the daily pressures that they encounter.
