Priscilla stumbled upon yoga in one of the gym’s classes in 2015. She first turned to gym with an intention to stay active but was intrigued by how refreshing and the calming effect she felt after that very first yoga class.
Being a workaholic, she has little time for a regular workout which has eventually caused her with low immunity.
Her visits to the GP were so frequent that had a direct impact on her morale. She felt really fortunate to has discovered yoga and it is through a period of consistent yoga practice that her health has improved tremendously.
Yoga has benefited her mind, body and spirit; and with her own experience of self-healing through yoga she became inspired to deepen the practice through the 200hrs Yoga Teacher Training. She is passionate to share this amazing practice in bringing out the wellness for all her students.
On 21st June, she will be leading a class on Yin Yang
Yin and Yang, are two opposing energies that complement each other with the purpose of balancing the body. The first half of class ‘Yang’ is a more dynamic asana practice that focuses on the muscle tissues for strength and flexibility. The latter half of class “Yin”, a more reflective practice through long held deep stretches, that work on the connective tissues of the ligaments and joints.
Suitable for all levels.
Registration is via walk-in.
28th June 7pm
I turned to yoga in Sep 2017 as a counter to depression. Back then, I was practising through an online app I downloaded. After a few sessions, I started to notice changes within me. After that, I started practising in yoga studios.
Since then, I travelled to Nepal for yoga trekking and the experience was surreal.
Earlier this year, I decided to further my knowledge of yoga by taking up the 200 hours Ashtanga-Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training with Sampoorna in India. It was a 28 days training with no distraction and undivided attention.
Currently, I am teaching yoga at the condo I live in which focuses on breathing, meditation and asana.
On 28th June, she will be leading a class on Vinyasa.
Open to all levels.
Registration is via walk-in.
