Edwin is a Qigong and Meditation teacher, as well as an injury rehab therapist. He believes in bringing harmony to body-mind-spirit.
From a young age, he has been drawn to meditation, qigong and martial arts. His official venture into qigong began during university where he had the chance to learn from a school near his house. There he learnt the Chinese esoteric techniques of how to cultivate and move qi around the body, resulting in better health and vitality. He also learnt meditative techniques on how to calm the mind and relax the body.
After tearing 3 ligaments in his shoulder, Edwin researched into the intricacies of Tai Ji Quan, in order to search for a way to continue working as a therapist while injured. Combining his understanding of Western anatomical training methods with Eastern energy flow cultivation, he found a way to exert force in a relaxed and grounded manner.
Edwin’s system today is aimed at developing an inner body awareness, together with a relaxed mind and an aligned structure.
