Katya believes that the journey of knowledge is always at the beginning.
With a background of different sports, she discovered the joys of yoga while attending a prenatal practice and that was the spark to her yogic journey. After getting certified in the teacher’s training, she continued to explore and connect the different styles of Yoga styles available. And along the way, she is grateful have met many passionate masters.
Iyengar Yoga Pre-teacher training certification has had a big impact on her understanding of physical body alignment, while Yin Yoga brought the realization of energy centers in the body. Her love for energy practices and healing continued further with Reiki Attunement and Chakra Balancing studies.
Few years ago through meditations, Katya discovered a deeper self realization of finding her own true meaning of the yogic path. As her journey continues, she found a new appreciation towards the incredible philosophy of Elemental Yoga. This appreciation brought her back to her childhood days’ in Russia, which re-establishes her roots to Nature.
She wishes to share her love and passion of all things natural through Yoga.
