About Kleo

Being an active person throughout her life, Kleo would take a shot at any sport. Running used to be top of her list until injuries beset her and marathons failed to enthuse her. The turn came for her when she encountered Ashtanga during her university days. Amidst the physical demands of the asanas, it was the breath, mindfulness and meditative movement of yoga that captivated her.

Practice took a backseat when work demands became heavy for years. Life took another turn five years ago when she became a full-time mum. She was able to juggle her time and finally found time to pursue a RYT-200hr Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga Teacher Training. Kleo firmly believes in a safe practice where optimal alignment and muscles activation is key. Her keen interest on anatomy led her to broaden her knowledge at workshops by Noah Maze – Anatomy & Intensive Yoga workshop and Joan Hyman. She is currently understudying Iyengar Yoga with a direct disciple of BKS Iyengar.

Kleo believes that yoga should be accessible to anyone and everyone, regardless of age, gender, body type and flexibility. She hopes to share this holistic wellness to everyone. Her motto in life is – with gratitude, comes happiness and peace. Today, she is juggling between being a full-time mum to two active boys and yoga teaching.
