Parul Mehta as knowledge of multiple disciplines of Yoga, Meditation and other healing practices. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience in teaching these practices to diverse audiences in Singapore and elsewhere.
Born and brought up in India in an Army household, life was never a straight line. Due to her father’s job, she has travelled extensively within India experiencing different cultures, cuisines and meeting new people every two to three years.
This continued on post her education by joining Singapore Airlines as cabin crew, travelling around the world. Her ten year stint with SQ transformed her from a young girl to a mature woman, widening her Trans India exposure to the global arena and understanding the World is One Big Family (Vasudeva Kutumbakam).
Despite being born in the family of yoga enthusiasts, Parul understands little to the real meaning of yoga. The turning point came when she was introduced to Atma Kriya yoga. After practicing it daily for a year, she went to one of the world’s eminent institute/Ashram Shree Peeth Nilaya close to Frankfurt (Germany), to become an Atma Kriya Yoga Teacher.
Having initiated by her Master Eminent Yogi Paramhamsa Swami Vishwananda to teach. Parul has been sharing the love, joy and peace with others through these spiritual practices. Also, she learnt Traditional Hatha Yoga from Kaivalyadham, the world renowned Yoga institute in India.
Today Parul is a Wife, Mother, Atma Kriya Yoga practitioner and teacher, Hatha Yoga Instructor and Simply Meditation teacher, Mudra Teacher and Reiki Master Teacher.
She understands the stresses and imbalances of modern life often lead to poor health, loss of motivation and even life crises. Using her knowledge of Ancient practices of Yoga and Meditation, she hopes her students would learn to maintain a healthy balance at all levels: physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.
Hatha Yoga typically includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises). This is a relatively slow and gentle style that is suitable for beginners or students who prefer a more relaxed class.
This is a slower-paced hatha yoga class in which students are safely guided into and out of each posture. A variety of props are used to support the body where needed.
OM chanting is one of the most powerful and an ancient healing technique introduced for the modern age. OM is the primordial sound creating and pervading the whole Universe. The sound of OM belongs to all humanity, to all nations and to all religions.
